From fundraising to education: Translating the business vision into a learning experience
I’m Ayobami Israel, I build scalable digital products that turn businesses into profitable, investment-ready ventures.
With 7+ years of design experience, including 4+ years in product design, I combine strong visual craft with product thinking to turn complex problems into intuitive, impactful digital experiences.
I've always been fascinated by the idea of creating things. As a child, I would imagine possibilities without knowing that one day, I would turn that natural curiosity into a career.
My journey began with computer engineering, but my introduction to design was much less formal. I taught myself graphic design by observing others in a computer engineering workshop. What started as curiosity eventually became a skill, a job, and the first step towards discovering what I truly wanted to do.
My transition into product design happened unexpectedly. While exploring data analysis, an instructor noticed my graphic design background and suggested I consider UI/UX design.
That conversation led me down a path of self-learning, internships, collaborative projects, and eventually, my first major product design role.

But what truly made me fall in love with product design was the possibility of solving meaningful problems.
I've always admired how a single idea can become an invention that changes people's lives.
Product design gives me the opportunity to be part of that process to turn ideas into digital experiences, build systems that people can rely on, and create solutions that make everyday life a little easier.

Over the years, I've worked across fintech, healthcare, property technology, hospitality, and other industries, contributing to products that address different business and user challenges.
From helping bring complex technical ideas to life through UI/UX design to contributing to platforms that equip entrepreneurs with business knowledge, each experience has deepened my understanding of what it means to design with purpose.
My curiosity has also taken me beyond the design canvas. By learning frontend fundamentals and exploring AI-assisted development, I've begun expanding my practice into design engineering, bringing design and implementation closer together.
Today, I approach design as more than creating interfaces. I'm interested in understanding problems, shaping thoughtful experiences, building scalable systems, and increasingly turning the things I design into functional products.
I'm still learning, still experimenting, and still imagining what's possible.
Ultimately, I want to create things that matter, products that solve real problems, improve experiences, and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
